As President and CEO, Mark T. Isom directs corporate strategy and operations for Premiere Building Maintenance Corporation. In this role he is responsible for the strategic direction and overall business results for Premiere while guiding employees and other executive officers toward the central objective of business sustainment and profitability. He is responsible for establishing the company's mission statement and overseeing business practices to make sure those goals and values are met.
As a business leader, he is the President of the Board at Premiere, serves on the Board at Innovation Valley, Inc., and the Jefferson County Soil Conservation. He also serves as a member of the Knoxville Area Urban League Loan Review Committee and is a Board Member of the AEC (Appalachian Electric Cooperative).
Mr. Isom has been recognized by many organizations for his leadership in business, the community and as a role model. The U.S. Small Business Administration named him 8(a) Contractor of the Year in 2003 and the Small Business Person of the Year in 2004. He was awarded the Economic and Community Development Business Achievement Award for the 30th Anniversary Legislative Retreat in 2004 and the Bronze Man Award from Phi Lambda Sorority in 2007. In 2010, he was named Distinguished Alumni of the Year by Carson Newman University.
Mr. Isom incorporated Premiere Building Maintenance Corporation in 1996 and has been its visionary leader since. He received his B.S. in Business Management from Carson Newman University and has completed Executive Training at Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. He is also a Certified Building Service Executive (CBSE) and Registered Building Service Manager (RBSM).
